Women's Tennis Defeats Grand Valley State 7-2

The Northwood University women's tennis team remained alone in first place in the GLIAC with a 7-2 win over Grand Valley State Saturday afternoon (October 6.

The Timberwolves are now 9-0 overall and in the GLIAC. GVSU falls to 7-2 overall and in the GLIAC.

Northwood came out strong in doubles, sweeping the three matches heading into singles. NU then won at the first through fifth positions to finish off the victory.

Northwood will host Ashland Friday afternoon (October 12). Match time is set for Noon.
