Women's Tennis Defeats Edinboro 7-2 To Open Spring Trip
The Northwood University women's tennis team opened the spring portion of the schedule with a 7-2 win over Edinboro Saturday afternoon (March 22).
Northwood remains unbeaten on the season, improving to 18-0 with the win. Edinboro falls to 8-6 with the loss.
The Timberwolves came out strong in doubles, winning all of the matches to take a 3-0 lead heading into singles. NU then won the bottom four singles matches in straight sets to earn the overall win.
Northwood will face Benedict Sunday afternoon (March 23). First serve is set for 1 p.m.
