Danijela Danilovic Named G-MAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week

MIDLAND, MICH. – Danijela Danilovic, a junior on the Northwood University women's tennis team, has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week Monday (February 17).

She is the first Northwood women's tennis player to earn the honor this season.

Danilovic remained unbeaten on the year at No. 2 doubles and No. 2 singles, posting a 6-0 combined record to lead Northwood to three wins. NU earned road wins over Roosevelt and Purdue Northwest before defeating Saginaw Valley at home. Danilovic is now 12-0 overall this season, having gone 6-0 in both singles and doubles. The Timberwolves now stand at 6-0 overall as a team.

Northwood will host Grand Valley State Friday (February 21). First serve is set for 1 p.m.
