Savannah Matuszewski To Compete at Dow Tennis Classic

Savannah Matuszewski, a senior on the Northwood University women's tennis team, has earned a position in the draw the Dow Tennis Classic.

The professional tennis tournament starts Sunday (February 15) at the Greater Midland Tennis Center.

A late withdraw from the event gave Matuszewski a wildcard position in the event. She will take on No. 8 seed Sara Daavettila in the opening round on the Meredith McGrath Stadium court at approximately Noon.

Matuszewski is the No.1 singles player for the Timberwolves this season. Over the part three seasons of her career, she has gone 37-7 in singles play.
