The women's team saw senior Chelsea Young (Remus, Mich. / Chippewa Hills) take third in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 10.12 behind Lake Superior and Northern Michigan. Marsadie Cinato (Warren, Mich. / Woods Tower) finished fourth in the 400 with a time of 60.37, whileValencia Lynch (Flint, Mich. / Carman-Ainsworth) took sixth in the 60 clocking an 8.06. Danielle Miller (Clinton Twp, Mich. / Fraser) placed fourth in both the mile (5:05.89) and 800 (2:25.32). Her mile time is good for third best in school history – behind Madison Pines and Kylen Cieslak. Northwood's head coach, Jamie Moreno, is "pleased where our team is with four weeks left until conference, but we still have a  lot of work to do." The Timberwolves will compete next weekend in the Wide Track Classic at Hillsdale on Friday and Saturday, February 7 and 8.
