MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University men's track & field teams will two athletes to compete in a total of three events at the 2021 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships.
The field was announced by the NCAA Tuesday (March 2).
Mason Phillips (60 meters/200 meters) and Xzavia Price (60 meters) will all take part in the championships.
Phillips, a 10-time All-American at Northwood, is ranked third in the 60 meter dash (6.73) and fourth in the 200 (21.16). He ran the 60 meter time at the GLIAC Indoor Championships and his time in the 200 at the GVSU Big Meet.
Price is ranked eighth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.77, which he clocked at the GLIAC Championships. Price also earned the GLIAC Championship in the long jump (6.98 meters).
The event will take place March 11-13 in Birmingham, Alabama.
