Sydney Hasenfratz Earns Second G-MAC Volleyball North Division Offensive Player of the Week Award

MIDLAND, MICH. - Sophomore Sydney Hasenfratz has earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) North Divison Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the week, the league announced Monday (September 18). 

It marks the second time this season Hasenfratz has claimed the honor. 

Hasenfratz averaged 4.38 kills while hitting .492 for Northwood in a pair of victories to open G-MAC play. In the Timberwolves' 3-2 win over Lake Erie, Hasenfratz had 20 kills, five blocks and seven digs. She then closed the week with 15 kills and zero errors, good for a .750 attack percentage. Hasenfratz currently leads the G-MAC in attack percentage and points per set.

Northwood (7-3, 2-0 G-MAC) travels to Hillsdale Wednesday (September 20). First serve is set for 1 p.m.
