Volleyball Finishes 3-0 Weekend With Sweep At Lake Erie

INSIDE THE MATCH
- Lake Erie scored the first three points of the match, which was followed by Northwood scoring the next five. NU led 11-10 when the Timberwolves scored nine of the next 11 points to go up 20-12. Northwood led by as many as 11 before taking the set 25-17 for a 1-0 lead.
- The second set was close throughout – there were nine ties and five lead changes. NU took the first three-point lead of the set at 12-9. Northwood led 17-15 when Lake Erie went on a 5-1 run to go up 20-18. Northwood responded with three straight point to go up 21-20. With the Storm leading 22-21, NU scored the final four points of the set to win 25-22 and go up 2-0.
- The Timberwolves kept the momentum going early in the third set by scoring seven of the first nine points. Northwood maintained control the rest of the way, not allowing Lake Erie to get any closer than four points. NU's biggest lead was 12 in the set before winning 25-14 to close out the sweep.
