INSIDE THE MATCH

• Northwood played well at the open of the match, opening up an 8-5 lead. NU held a 13-11 edge when Findlay made a big run, scoring eight of the next nine points to take a 19-14 lead. the Timberwolves responded with three straight points to get back within two at 19-17, only to see the Oilers put up six of the final nine points to close out the opening set 25-20.
• UF held a small advantage the majority of the second set. Findlay led 15-12 when Northwood earned four straight points to take a 16-15 lead. NU trailed 19-18 when Findlay scored six of the final eight points to take the set 25-20 for a 2-0 lead.
• The third set was similar to the opening two sets. Northwood played well through the middle portion, as the Timberwolves held a 12-10 lead. That is when the Oilers scored six of the next eight points to go up 18-14. NU got no closer than three the rest of the set, which was won by Findlay 25-19 to complete the sweep.
