Cross Country Competes At Wayne's Warrior Challenge
OVERVIEW – Warrior Challenge
LOCATION: Willow Metropark – New Boston, Mich.
RECAP: Northwood men's and women's cross country competed at the Warrior Challenge on Friday afternoon (September 12). The Timberwolf women took sixth, and the men placed sixth.
INSIDE THE MEN'S RACE (8,000 METERS)
- Northwood placed sixth overall with 184 points, led by Noah Longuski in his first career 8K, finishing 32nd in 27:46.10
- The men's top five combined for a total time of 2:19:27.3, averaging 27:53.5 with a 1:09 spread.

- Jacob Wartenberg: 33rd – 27:43.1
- Caleb Robinson: 37th – 27:52.2

INSIDE THE WOMEN'S RACE (6,000 METERS)
- Northwood women's cross country placed sixth with 207 points.
- In the team's first 6K of the season, Kaylee Aultman ran just off her personal best with a 25:02.40 finish in 49th, the Timberwolves' best finisher.
- The Timberwolves' top five averaged 25:44.62, combining for a team total of 2:08:43. The squad finished with a 1–5 spread of 1:31.90.
