Northwood University Athletic Events This Weekend

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University basketball teams will both be competing in the 2015 GLIAC Tournament on Wednesday (March 4). The women will travel to Ashland with a tip off time of 5:30 p.m., while the men make the trip up to Lake Superior State for a scheduled game time of 7 p.m.

Three Northwood teams will be traveling to Florida this weekend. The Baseball and Softball teams open their seasons on Saturday. Baseball plays Trinity Int'l in a double-header on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Auburndale, Fla. Softball opens their season against Northern State at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. with first pitch slated for 5 p.m. The team then playsShippensburg at 7 p.m.

On Sunday, Men's Tennis competes against Aquinas at Kissimmee, Fla. Baseball plays another double-header against Mo.-St. Louis at the Coco Expo Sports Center in Coco Beach, Fla. starting at noon. Softball is matched up with St. Cloud State at 1 p.m., followed by Indianapolis at 3 p.m. at the National Training Center.

  • Baseball travels to Auburndale, Fla. vs. Trinity Int'l (3:00pm & 6:00pm)

  • Softball travels to National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. vs. Northern State (5:00pm)

  • Softball travels to National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. vs. Shippensburg (7:00pm)

Sunday, March 8:

  • Baseball travels to Coco Beach, Fla. vs. Mo.-St. Louis (12:00pm & 3:00pm)

  • Softball travels to National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. vs. St. Cloud St. (1:00pm)

  • Softball travels to National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. vs. Indianapolis (3:00pm)

  • Men's Tennis travels to Kissimmee, Fla. vs. Aquinas
