RECAP: Northwood baseball dropped a pair of games at Tiffin Saturday (April 11), falling in game one 5-1 before dropping a 5-4 contest in game two.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS (NINE INNINGS)

• Tiffin scored two in the first and one in the second to go up 3-0.
• The Dragons added two more in the sixth to lead 5-0.
• Northwood got on the board in the top of the seventh on an RBI single from Brennan Hallman, but that proved to be the final run of the game.
• NU's defense hurt them in the game, as the three Timberwolf errors resulted in all five Dragon runs being unearned.

• Northwood got on the board first in game two in the top of the fourth inning on a Caden Duryea single.
• Later in the inning, NU made it 2-0 on a throwing error.
• Tiffin cut the lead in half in the bottom of the fourth with a run.
• TU made the score 2-2 in the fifth.
• Later in the inning with two outs, a Northwood throwing error allowed two unearned runs to come home and give Tiffin a 4-2 lead.
• The Dragons added an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth to go up 5-2.
• That insurance run proved to be key, as Caden Duryea got the Timberwolves within one on a two-run double.
• With the tying run on third and the go ahead run on second, a lineout ended the game to give the Dragons the victory.
