GAME STORY

Northwood connected on a 3-pointer on their opening possession to take a 3-2 lead.
That would prove to be the lone lead of the contest for the Timberwolves, however. Thomas More scored eight straight points to go up 10-3 less than three minutes into the game.
Northwood trailed 27-17 around the midway point of the opening half when the Timberwolves began to chip away at the advantage.
NU cut the lead to three four times the remainder of the half, including at the end when the game went to the break with TMU leading 39-36.
The Saints were the better team over the opening 12 minutes of the second half – TMU took their biggest lead of the game at 66-54.
That was when Northwood fought back, going on a 9-0 run to get within three with 4:25 remaining.
NU got within two with 37 seconds remaining at 73-71 before Thomas More made a pair of free throws in the final seconds to close out the contest.
