GAME STORY

• Northwood scored the opening basket of the game to take the early lead.
• The Wolverines responded with 10 straight points to take a 10-2 lead at the 7:08 mark of the first.
• NU trailed by as many as 12 in the first before cutting the advantage down to six.
• UM led 22-14 after one quarter.
• Michigan pushed their advantage up to 19 in the second quarter. Northwood finished the half strong, scoring eight of the final 10 points to send the game to the break with UM leading 43-30.
• The Wolverines slowly built their lead in the third quarter, getting their advantage up to as many as 21. Michigan would hold a 62-44 lead heading to the final quarter.
• Michigan controlled the final quarter, out-scoring Northwood 19-8. UM got their lead up to as many as 33 before winning the game by 29.
