Women's Basketball Loses At Wayne State 73-64

RECAP: A tough first half costs Northwood women's basketball in a 73-64 loss at Wayne State Thursday night (November 14).
GAME STORY
- Wayne State scored eight of the first 10 points of the game for the early advantage.
- The Warriors kept the momentum going the rest of the quarter, pushing their lead to 15-4 at the 2:24 mark.
- The WSU leads stood at 15-8 after one quarter.
- Northwood got off to a good start in the second, scoring 11 of the first 15 points to get within three at 19-16.
- Wayne State came right back with the biggest run of the game, scoring 16 straight points to take a 35-19 lead with 3:40 remaining in the second.
- NU chipped away at the lead the remainder of the half, sending the game to the break with the score 41-28.
- The Warriors took their biggest lead of the game at the 3:59 mark of the third, going up 52-35.
- Northwood responded with 10 straight points to get within seven at 52-45.
- WSU led 56-46 heading to the fourth quarter.
- The Timberwolves kept the momentum going, eventually getting within three at 63-60 with 2:12 remaining.
