RECAP: Women's Soccer visited Findlay Thursday afternoon (October 9). The match was 0-0 heading into the final five minutes of action before the Oilers scored to give them the 1-0 win.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Northwood saw a great first opportunity in the 10'. Carly Boyd's heads-up pass down the seam gave Mari Jackson a one-on-one with the UF keeper. Her high shot was saved, forcing the Timberwolves away.
- The opening half was highlighted by a big defensive moment for Northwood. Goalkeeper Lindsay Jacob came up with a penalty kick save in the 13' to keep the match level.
- The Timberwolves produced seven second-half shots and three corner kicks, but could not find the finishing touch.
