Women's Basketball Falls At Findlay 72-62

RECAP: Findlay takes early lead and keeps it the remainder of the game, earning a 72-62 win over Northwood Monday night (December 16).
GAME STORY
- Findlay set the tone for the first two quarters right away, scoring 12 of the first 14 points of the game for an early 10-point lead.
- The Oilers lead grew to as many as 12 before UF held a 24-21 lead after one.
- Findlay maintained at lead a nine point lead the entire second quarter, pushing their advantage to as many as 16.
- UF eventually led 38-23 at the break.
- Three-point shooting was a big part of the Oilers advantage at halftime, as UF went 5-10 from beyond the arc in the first half while the Timberwolves were 0-13.
- Northwood responded with a strong third quarter. After trailing 45-31 at the 6:36 mark, the Timberwolves scored seven straight points to get within seven at 45-38.
- NU out-scored UF 22-14 in the third quarter to make it a 52-45 game heading to the fourth quarter.
- The Timberwolves cut the lead down to six at 63-57 with under four minutes remaining, but that is as close as NU would get.
