GAME STORY

• Northwood led 9-6 in the first quarter before Northern Michigan made the first run of the game. The Wildcats put up 10 straight points to take a 16-9 lead with 1:43 remaining in the first.
• The Timberwolves responded with the final five points of the quarter, making the score 16-14 after one.
• NU's run eventually reached nine straight points to put Northwood on top 18-16.
• The remainder of the quarter was tightly contested – Northern Michigan eventually held a 30-25 lead at the break. The five-point lead matched the largest of the quarter.
