Women's Basketball Earns 73-63 Win Over Kentucky Wesleyan

GAME STORY
- Kentucky Wesleyan got off to a fast start in the game, going up 13-4 less than 4:30 into the game.
- Northwood was the better team down the stretch of the first, scoring 13 of the final 19 points to make the KWC lead 19-17 after one.
- Much like the first quarter, the Panthers were the better team early. They pushed their lead up to 28-21 three minutes into the quarter.
- The end of the second quarter as also similar to the first, as Northwood finished the quarter strong. NU scored 16 of the final 25 points of the half to take a 37-35 lead to halftime.
- It was Northwood who got off to the fast start to open the third quarter, scoring the first eight points to take the first double-digit lead of the game at 45-35.
- NU's lead grew to as many as 12 before standing with a 54-45 leading heading to the final quarter.
- Northwood scored the first two points of the fourth to take an 11-point lead, only to see KWC score nine of the next 11 points to get within four at 58-54.
- The Panthers stayed close for much of the fourth, getting as close as three before the Timberwolves finished with 12 of the final 17 points to close out the victory.
