Women's Basketball Defeats Findlay 71-66 In G-MAC Quarterfinals

RECAP: Fourth-seeded Women's Basketball advances to the G-MAC Tournament semifinals with a 71-66 win over No. 5 seed Findlay Tuesday night (March 4).
GAME STORY
- Northwood scored the first four points of the game, which proved to be their biggest lead of the opening half.
- Findlay led by as many as five in the opening quarter before holding a 20-17 lead after one.
- The Oilers took the first six-point lead of the game late in the second quarter at 35-29. Northwood scored the final two points of the half to send the game to the break with Findlay leading 35-31.
- The Timberwolves stayed close throughout the third quarter but did not take the lead until the 54 second mark, going up 49-48.
- Northwood held a 51-48 lead heading to the fourth.
- NU took the biggest lead of the game with 6:02 remaining at 61-52.
- Findlay responded, getting with two thanks to a 9-2 run to make the score 63-61.
- That was as close as the Oilers would get, however, as NU held the lead the rest of the way to earn the win.
