RECAP: Northwood women's soccer recorded a draw in their visit to Ohio Dominican Saturday (October 12). The Timberwolves had the early 1-0 before the Panthers tied it later in the first half for the draw. Brooke Honeycutt joined the Northwood women's soccer 50-point club in the contest.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Northwood opened the scoring first in the 11'. Reagan Brengman's clearance from the backline found a streaking Brooke Honeycutt down the middle seam. Honeycutt beat the defender to the outside of the ball, scoring it into the right post, 1-0 NU.
  • Honeycutt's score made her the 12th player in program history to break the 50-point career mark. She now has 54 career points (51 at Northwood 2022-24, 3 at Oakland 2020-21)
  • Later in the first half, Ohio Dominican knotted it back at one with a score of their own in the 33'.
  • The Timberwolves and Panthers were tied at the half, having three shots a piece and the Panthers with the only corner opportunity.
  • Northwood and Ohio Dominican went back and forth in the second half, but neither team managed to take the lead, finishing in a draw
