Women's Soccer's Early Offense Leads To 4-0 Win Over Ursuline

RECAP: Northwood women's soccer's three goals in the first 16 minutes of the match led them to a 4-0 win over the visiting Ursuline Arrows on Thursday (October 17).

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Northwood earned a quick 1-0 lead in the 5' behind Ella Boyd's header. A Timberwolves corner kick deflected off an Ursuline header before Ella Boyd tagged Northwood with the lead.
  • Eight minutes of game time later, Boyd connected with a through ball to her sister, Carly Boyd, to give NU the early 2-0 lead.
  • Moving to the 16', Northwood's offense continued to pressure the Arrows' defense. Northwood collected six corner opportunities with the first 11 minutes of the match.
